We love to eat it, to read and write and talk about it, and best of all we love to combine it with delicious, fresh ingredients that add to that indescribable feeling you get when you bite into some delicious handmade chocolate. ‘We’ are a small chocolatiers shop in South Kingstown, RI, home to the University of Rhode Island and neighbor of the Atlantic Ocean. We make centers with toasted nuts, sweet butter, cream, and fruit juices (but not all together), and then coat individual pieces in premium chocolate. We use Merckens couvertures for our milk and white chocolates, and Callebaut couverture for our dark chocolates. Merckens, made in Massachusetts, and Callebaut, made in Belgium, are the best complements to our delectable toffee, creme, and caramel centers.
After we make it, we've gotta test it! Our dedicated corps of test-tasting volunteers includes friends, family, customers, and staffers. The latter, when not taste-testing, keep busy making tempting candy favors for bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and parties, using our own handmade chocolate candies, Jelly Belly candies, Green Mountain truffles, and foil chocolate hearts.
